Śrīla Bhaktisiddhānta Sarasvatī Ṭhākura Prabhupāda — Excerpt from a letter (20 October 1928), Patrāvalī 1.61 quoted in the book ‘Śrī Bhaktisiddhānta Vaibhava — The Grandeur and Glory of Śrīla Bhaktisiddhānta Sarasvatī Ṭhākura’ by Bhakti Vikāsa Swami

Srī Gauḍīya Maṭha does not and cannot have anything in common with those who duplicitously join it with a motive to misuse divine knowledge to serve their own selfish ends. Feigned dīkṣā and obtainment of divine knowledge are never identical.

Śrī Caitanya and His sincere devotees are eternally present in Śrī Gauḍīya Maṭha. Owlish persons incapable of seeing the light are called Māyāvādīs, karmīs, or wayward non-devotees.
