ON VAISHNAVISM FOR OVER TWO DECADES

Srila Rupa Goswami is revered in the Gaudiya Vaishnava community as the chief of the Six Goswamis, the direct disciples of Sri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu. His voluminous writings, dramas and songs have elaborated upon the instructions of Sriman Mahaprabhu and comprise the theology of Gaudiya Vaishnavism.
For more two decades, the Rupa Sanatana Gaudiya Math, under the guidance of Srila Bhaktivedanta Narayana Maharaja, has held a three-day conference to discuss the glories of Srila Rupa Goswami. The conference is conducted in Hindi in the evenings at the Rupa Sanatana Gaudiya Math in Seva Kunj. Eight years ago, Srila Maharaja began English morning sessions, and they continue at nearby Gopinath Bhavan. The conference is a forum for Vaishnavas and scholars to speak on the glories of Srila Rupa Goswami and various aspects of Vaishnavism in relation to him. It is meant to enliven the Vaishnava community with topics that are relevant to their devotional practice.
It is my honor to invite you to attend our conference. An international assembly of distinguished scholars is expected to participate. We don’t expect a large crowd to the morning sessions, but we do promise a comfortable assembly of like-minded scholars and attentive listeners. We are confident that your participation will greatly enhance the work of our conference.

Sounds wonderful.. . I wish I could be there! I remember what it was like when Gurudeva was present physically on Rupa Goswami’s disappearance day in Vrndavana. Maybe some transcriptions / videos/ recordings will be available after?

Will all lectures both in the evening and morning be recorded? If those morning English speaking class could get to ISA asap then we westerners can have them soon after the day they are spoken. Also live broadcast can be considered and is possible. On the evening tapes hopefully some day they can be dubbed in English for all our hears to fulfill and we can pray for such time. Please respond.
