For over 15 years, we have been a community of Gaudiya Vaishnav aspirants, who spontaneously gathered together in the San Francisco Bay Area, mostly on the East Bay side (Berkeley/Oakland/Richmond).
We hope to grow our community both to help us along on our own spiritual path and to make this path visible, accessible and welcoming to all Bay Area residents.
The path of Pure Bhakti
What spiritual path are we trying to follow? The path of Pure Bhakti.
This is the path of seeking loving connection with the Supreme Lord, Sri Krishna, under the auspices of His Divine Consort, Srimati Radharani, in a mood of loving devotion (pure bhakti), through congregational chanting of the holy names (harinam sankirtan), devotional service (bhakti yoga & seva), and the living blessings and guidance of pure and senior devotees (Sadhus and Vaishnav Thakurs) and qualified spiritual master-teachers (Guru-varga).

What is given to me by Srila Gurudev can be distributed to many others both within our sanga or the general public. it will still remain with me(if I’m attentive to perserve it). Let’s share the wealth of Srila Gurudev’s mercy and compassion which he bountifully sprinkled upon us. Let’s protect it’s purity by becoming a “transparent via-medium”.
We can observe and be inspired by the ongoing labor-of-love seen in the wonderful vaisnavas of the greater Bay area lead by sripad RadhaKanta prabhu. These are one of the five kinds of food that nourishes the jivatma.
I count my blessings to be accepted as their servant & friend.

BAY AREA SANGA KI JAI!
Do you realise how lucky you are, that is like a lotto win first prize, if I knew I had won that, or lived in that community, I would be ecstatic.
You are so lucky to have a good association and community, I live in a city / metropolis with two temples close enough by, one is more like a supermarket run business, I don’t go there anymore, the other one my sweetest Gurudev Narayana Maharaja says Vaisnavas do not go to Ganesh temples. So I stopped going there also. Now the only temple I have in this city is here with my two lovely cats and two delightfully impersonalist tortoises, who just float around in nirvana all day long. I have morning ceremony kirtans with the DVD on You Tube so think how lucky are we to have a strong growing Vaisnava community in a fairly cool area. I get told here that if I continue, I will end up with a bullet between my eyes, I am still chanting daily and also put on the tilak. No one will stop me. Except Yamaraja his very self and even that won’t stop my desire to serve. All the best with your community and projects.
Dandavats Nandalal,
My humble suggestion is…
Why don’t you move to a place where there ARE gaudiya vaisnavas and there is a temple, center or home where they meet and chant, share hari katha and kirtan under the guidance of Gurudev or any other acarya in our line of Srila Bhakt.Sar..Thakur and Srila Bhaktivinode Thakur?
If the mountain does not come to Mohammed, Mohammed goes to the mountain.
Jaya Gurudev and Vaisnavas!.
