Houston Sri Govindaji Gaudiya Matha Temple Update

By the divine blessings and causeless mercy of our dear most Srila Gurudeva, we are very pleased to inform all the devotees that the construction of Sri Govindaji Gaudiya Matha Temple in Houston is almost 90% complete.  Historically, this is probably the fastest built temple in the world from ground-up.  This has only been possible because it was the desire of our most beloved Srila Gurudeva who ordered the Houston sanga to complete the temple ASAP. This temple will provide a beautiful setting for devotees in the entire North American sanga to congregate for festivals and other occasions for Hari-katha and Harinama sankirtan.

We currently plan to move our Sunday program to the new temple during Govardhan Puja and have the temple ready for week-long Bhagavat Katha by Pujyapad Van Maharaja in the month of December. In order to complete the temple and have it ready for these divine occasions, we urgently need at least $75,000. We are working earnestly to do a last minute fund raising to give an opportunity to all the devotees to contribute to this project, which was very dear to our Srila Gurdeva  Therefore, we plead to all the devotees to contribute whatever is possible.  No amount is too small.  Payment can be made directly through credit or debit card via Paypal.     great! i was there for the groundbreaking ceremony with srila gurudeva not so long ago. it’s amazing that the temple is almost finished!
